The Revealers - experiments

The main characters become a sort of pack of scientists. What were their first three experiments? What sort of immediate effects did these experiments cause? Use specific examples from the text. Finally, if you could put yourself in their place, why kind of experiment would try? What would you expect the outcome to be?

  1. The bully lab put on a bunch of experiments I will list 3. The first experiment they put on was when Russell went up to Richie and asked why he was bulling him his answer was a punch straight to Russell's face. The second was when Elliot went up to the Jock Rots and hit Burke with a sock full of marbles. The only thing accomplished from that was that Elliot was dropped of a bridge and had to go to the ER in the hospital. The third experiment was when Catalina wrote a letter about herself and sent it to Russell and Russell posted it to everyone in 7th grade on Kid Net. This is the only one that worked well Catalina didn't get bullied and some cool kids sat at her table. Most of the experiments failed but one succeeded.

  2. So far, they have tried three experiments. The first one was to ask Richie why he was being mean to Russell. The second one was to stand up to the Jock Rots. These experiments both had the same result by bullying even more. Russell got punched In the face and then passed out on the street. when he got home his mom called the principal but she did not do anything. With Elliot, he started whacking Burke in the face with a baby sock filled with nine marbles and then got carried away and pushed off a bridge into rocky water. He went to the hospital and came back with a broken ankle and a concussion. The third experiment, Catalina's, turned out differently. She wrote a long amazing story about the truth of her life story (since many kids had been making up lies about her). After she had help sending it to the whole 7th grade, people started to talk to her in the halls and sit with her at lunch. Bethany DeMere's group never bothered her again or wrote any nasty notes. Also Elliot sent his story of being bullied out to the 7th grade and many kids wrote back asking him to put there stories out to the school. I think they found an experiment that worked. Also, When Russell was on his way walking to Elliot's house, the Jock Rots threatened him and just in time , even though Russell wasn't scared of the Jock Rots, Richie Tucker came and scared them away and said that Russell could ask him any question that he wanted to about him. If I could put myself in there place, than I would try to gather some of the kids who do not have a clique or get bullied a lot and make a huge clique so everyone could have each other's backs to stand up to the bullies than there would be to many of us in a big group to pick on.

  3. Their first three expirements were asking the bully questions, writing a letter to the whole school about what was true, and fighting back. When Russell asked Richie questions he punched him in the face but then helped him with the Rots. When Catalina wrote her letter to the whole school everybody stopped making fun of her and some of the girls starting hanging out with her. When Elliot fought back he endedup in the hostipal and on crutches. Then one of the Rots kicked his crutche out from underneat him. I would try to embarass the person bullying me so they would stop.
