Memories

What memories do you believe will become most important for Jonas to receive? Why?

  1. I think that the memories of war and revolt will become very important to Jonas because he will learn that at one time this was common. Also I think the memories of color will become important and Jonas will start to convince to the people that there was were colors.

  2. I think that the memories of how good life used to be will help Jonas start a rebellion (yes, i know it sounds A LOT like catching fire) and show people how things were and give them those good memories and they may overthrow the Elders and bring the community back to the way it should be (no i have not read the book)

  3. I think that both the memories of how good life use to be and of war and revolt will be important to Jonas. If he really does start a rebellion to give everyone those good memories,(Why the memories of how good life used to be are important, pretty much what Hayden said) then he will have some experience in revolts/rebellions.

  4. Ya I agree with Hayden and Jack, if people know about how much freedom people of the past had they'll start to think "Hey, the Elders are taking away our freedom." Which kinda reminds me of how the Capitol in The Hunger Games controls everybody. -A-Town

  5. wow, isnt it almost obvious that Jonas is going to start a revolution? I was going to write something original, but A-town and OPags literally took the words from my brain. The most important memories are probably going to be choices, and since jonas is kind of in denial about making choices, he could see the good side of it, and crave the freedom not just for himself, but for his loved ones. that sounded deep huh
