Fair?
Once Jonas stops taking his pill, he is able to understand things even more clearly. Is it fair for the leaders of the Community to control their people with a pill? Why or why not?
It's not fair at all. The people of the community should be able to control themselves. I bet that there's a deeper meaning to the pills and why the Elders want to control everyone.......
No, it isn't. It is like they are drugging their own people. They shouldn't keep secrets like color from them. Especially by using a pill which they think is supposed to be normal medicine. It is like secretly controlling every thing they see or hear through the pills. -Andrew
no its not I think maybe the community told them that it was probably best for them but they don't know tat they are hiding beautiful colors but they are also hiding pain. ~Ella
No. It is definitely not fair. That is because people deserve their freedom. Ya know what I'm saying, yo? XD It's like: "Here sweetie-kins, take this little pill for mommy. It won't hurt. I promise, darling. It only deprives you of real feelings. No big deal, right cutie-pie?"
I don't think it is fair at all. The leaders are taking away their feelings, color, and most importantly their freedom. They never did anything bad to be deprived of these things. The only thing that might be good about the pills is that they are taking away pain from the people, like Ella said.
It's not fair to do this. I think this because if you can't feel feelings, you can't truly enjoy life. You couldn't actually share your feelings at dinner because you don't have any.(Mixed signals if you ask me.) To sum it up, as Jack P. said, you couldn't truly have freedom.
Absolutley not people should have all their feelings and be able to use and feel them in a personal way rather than being controlled. Poeple sholuld have freedoms and rights so they can usetheir own experiences and emotions.-Aurora
Its totally not fair. People should be able to choose their own life path. These people aren't even like living they are just kind of existing in this world of Sameness.
