Chapter 21 - Jonas's flees
On the second page of Chapter 21, we learn about Jonas's last evening meal conversation. It is mentioned that Lily was blabbing away and Mother and Father were making the standard meal time "sharing" that was required. Are Mother and Father's comments about their day really lies? Do they understand Release, or are they just living the lives they were trained for? As always, fully explain your thinking! Re-read your answer to yourself to check it before you publish!

Well, I think that they are lies, but the liars don't realize it. They don't understand death like Jonas does. They are probably just living what they are trained for. Maybe Jonas's dad thinks the twin is in a better place or something. He doesn't realize the FEELING (-wink wink-) that the baby is going through. "Oh yeah, let's kill a baby," probably isn't what he is thinking, he doesn't realize that the twin had a mind of its own.
