I think a note worthy passage is when melody her mom her dad and Mrs. V find out their flight got canceled. Then Mrs. V and melody momentary crying because they know how hard melody has worked to go to Washington D.C. also because it's really the closest thing to a sport and to a normal thing melody does.so I think it is very emotional for every one including penny if she new what was happening.

DeleteI agree with Henry with the airport mishap. Why would her teammates leave her out of the team? I thought that her teammates would have warmed up to her by now because she helped them win the championship. Plus, I knew this was going happen! I knew it! Why would they not call her and tell her that they changed flights? I felt so bad for Melody when I read this chapter. She finally felt like she sort of part of the team, but then it just gets thrown away when they don't tell her! It just kills me inside!!!!!

I really agree with you Ella! Literally they couldn't make a phone call? Melody had one chance not to be that messed up girl without a brain and they ripped it away from here!
DeleteI think one note worthy passage in Chapter 29 is when the whole family including Mrs.V hop out of the car and go to the ticket booth at the airport. Then the woman working tells them that the flight has been canceled due to a snow storm in Boston. Then Melody’s Dad starts getting angry with the agent because the flight has been canceled. The family tells the agent that Melody is on the Whizz Kids team and the agent replies that the Whizz Kids team went out for breakfast and then took an earlier flight. I think the team left on purpose without warning because they didn’t want Melody on their team anymore for some reason. I think the team didn’t want to be embarrassed by Melody on national television. I think this was a very moving and its going to create a big conflict in the storyline.
